Delivery Policy - Haja’s Kitchen

At Haja’s Kitchen, we strive to deliver your meals quickly and in the best conditions. Please read our delivery policy carefully to understand the charges, timeframes, and zones covered.

1. Delivery Zones & Fees

We deliver within Freetown, divided into three zones based on distance from our base at Cheryl Drive, Juba:

???? Zone 1 – Immediate Proximity (0-5 km from Cheryl Drive, Juba)

  • ⏳ Delivery Time: 30 min to 1 hour
  • ???? Delivery Fee: 75 SLe
  • ???? Covered Areas:
    • Juba
    • Lumley
    • Aberdeen
    • Goderich
    • Spur Road
    • Wilberforce

✅ Ideal for quick deliveries within central and western Freetown.

???? Zone 2 – Medium Distance (5-10 km from Cheryl Drive, Juba)

  • ⏳ Delivery Time: 1 to 2 hours
  • ???? Delivery Fee: 100 SLe
  • ???? Covered Areas:
    • Congo Cross
    • Brookfields
    • Hill Station
    • Regent
    • Leicester
    • IMATT

✅ Perfect for customers in the greater Freetown area.

???? Zone 3 – Long Distance (10-20 km from Cheryl Drive, Juba)

  • ⏳ Delivery Time: 2 to 4 hours
  • ???? Delivery Fee: 120 SLe
  • ???? Covered Areas:
    • Kissy
    • Wellington
    • Hastings
    • Waterloo
    • Grafton

✅ Best for customers in the outer city needing scheduled deliveries.

2. Delivery Conditions

  • Orders must be placed before 9:30 PM to qualify for same-day delivery, as our kitchen closes at 10:00 PM. to qualify for same-day delivery.
  • Deliveries are made 7 days a week based on Haja’s Kitchen operating hours:
    • Monday: 4 PM - 10 PM
    • Tuesday to Sunday: 10 AM - 10 PM
  • An extra charge of 100 SLe will apply for urgent deliveries, in addition to the normal delivery fee.

3. Delays or Customer Absence

  • If the customer is unavailable at delivery time, our rider will attempt to contact them up to 5 times within a 5-minute timeframe.
  • If unsuccessful, the order cannot be refunded but may be available for pickup at our store, subject to availability.
  • Delays due to weather, traffic, or unforeseen circumstances are beyond our control. We also share live tracking of your order via WhatsApp so you can monitor your delivery in real-time.
